Current Standard
SD Specification Version 3.01 created UHS-I, Ultra High Speed specification
SD Specification Version 4.00 created UHS-II physical specification
Standard Formats
SD, miniSD and microSD offer storage up to 2 gigabytes; SDHC, miniSDHC and microSDHC offer storage up to 32 gigabytes; SDXC and microSDXC will offer storage up to 2 terabytes
Usage
SD standards can be found in dozens of product categories used by hundreds of brands offering thousands of product models. It is the storage media leader for mobile phones, digital audio players, car navigation systems and electronic books
